A woman holding an iPhone in both hands at a table.

Grok Bot can now reach into the built-in apps on a phone. The official Grok Bot account announced on October 22 that the assistant can use Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and more apps, and said the feature is rolling out now on iOS and Android. It arrives just days after Grok Bot picked up support for the iPhone Action Button, and less than a week after a major update that brought X Chat support.

That Scary X Warning When You Connect a Scheduler Is Not Going Away

The X headquarters building in San Francisco after its Twitter signage was removed.

If you have connected a scheduling tool to X in the past few weeks, you have probably met the warning. The authorization screen tells you, in X's own words, that "This app is not affiliated with X and is requesting sensitive permissions," and it asks you to tick a box labeled "I trust this app" before you can continue. It looks like a security alert. According to reporting published on Friday by FutureTweets, it is not a glitch, and it is not going away.

Grok Bot Gets an iPhone Action Button: One Press Starts a Voice Chat

A finger presses the small Action Button on the side of an iPhone above its volume buttons.

The fastest way to talk to Grok Bot just got a little faster. On October 19, Grok Bot's official account on X announced that the service can now be set as an iPhone's Action Button, so a single press starts a voice chat with a user's Bot. "Grok Bot is now one step closer. Set it as your iPhone's Action Button and press it to talk with Bot," the post reads, alongside a short demo video.

The First Two Hours Now Decide a Post's Fate on X

A person holds a smartphone showing the X logo while reaching to tap the screen.

Posting on X increasingly comes down to what happens right after a post goes live. Three tracked changes to the platform's feed ranking between September 30 and October 7, 2026 have tightened the window for a new post to earn wider distribution, raised who can qualify for an early boost, and cut the credit given to posts that have not yet proved themselves.

Hypefury Drops X: The Twitter-Born Scheduler Now Skips the Platform It Was Built For

A scheduling tool that built its name on Twitter threads no longer publishes to X at all. Hypefury, launched in 2019 by co-founders Samy Dindane and Yannick Veys and described by the company as the first scheduler built for Twitter threads, now lists five supported platforms on its pricing page: Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. X is not among them.

Spaces on X: How to Join, Speak, and Host Live Audio Conversations

Cartoon illustration of a host and guests with microphones and headphones having a live audio conversation around a table.

Posts are a performance; a Space is a conversation. Spaces are X's live audio rooms, where a host talks with guests in real time while an audience listens in. They are used for everything from breaking-news debriefs and sports watch-alongs to book clubs, town halls, and late-night comedy. If you have only ever listened, hosting one is easier than you think.

Bookmarks on X: Save Posts Privately and Organize Them with Folders

Cartoon illustration of a person filing glowing post cards into a private cabinet drawer, with a large bookmark ribbon marking a favorite stack.

Everyone has done it: liked a post just to find it again later, then cringed, because a like is a public endorsement. Bookmarks are the better tool for the job. Saving a post to your bookmarks files it away in a private collection that only you can see — no announcement, no notification, no trace on your profile.

Getting Paid on X: How Revenue Sharing and Subscriptions Work for Creators

Cartoon illustration of a content creator at a desk with a microphone as coins and hearts float from audience speech bubbles into a piggy bank.

X wants creators to treat posting as a business, and it runs two main programs to pay them: revenue sharing and Subscriptions. They work very differently, and most creators who earn on the platform use one or both. Here is how each stands today.

Getting the Most from Lists on X: Build Your Own Focused Timelines

Cartoon illustration of a person sorting social media post cards into neat, colorful timeline columns with favorites pinned at the top.

If your main X timeline feels like drinking from a fire hose, Lists are the tap you control. A List is a custom timeline built from a group of accounts you choose. Open the List and you see recent posts from only those accounts, in one focused feed, with none of the algorithm's detours. For many longtime users, Lists are the feature that makes X feel manageable again.
